Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the best mom ever! I totally lucked out having such a kind, loving, hilarious lady as my mama. Thanks for always believing in me, teaching me the importance of kindness, and making me laugh all the damn time. I love having you as a mom and as a friend. You're the best!

Happy Mother's Day!

My First Blogiversary!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the radio silence last week! Between work being busy, my foot being hurt, and Seattle having two days of 80 degree weather, I had a hard time finding time to keep up with the ol' blog.

Speaking of the ol' blog, Ladyface Blog is now 1 year old! In fact, with all the hustle and bustle last week, I missed my own Blogiversary (it was April 28th!). To celebrate, I put together a little collage of photos so you can see how gorgeous Seattle spring has been, and so I could try my hand at some hand-computer-lettering. I'm pretty pleased at my first attempt, to be honest!

When I first started blogging, I was so sure there was a right and wrong way to do things. The more I've grown into this space and figured out what I want to contribute, the more I've realized that there really are no right or wrong ways to blog. It's been a great first year and I'm looking forward to the time ahead. I'm hoping as I continue to blog, I can begin to share an even more honest version of myself. There are some subjects that are incredibly important to me and very near and dear to my heart that I'd love to start talking more about, so hopefully there will be lots of good things to come.

When I started blogging, I didn't expect to find myself in such a supportive community of incredibly bright, talented women, and I'm thrilled to be part of such a great space. I want to send a HUGE thank you out to all of who read along and let me share my life with you. I'm so thankful for all of your support and have really loved getting to know you guys.

Here's to another year!

XOXO
Becca
